concrete vanity

This vanity was a collaborative effort between Fabrica and Lancaster Concrete Designs. The sink, made by Tom Lancaster, is fabric formed using a lightweight GFRC concrete accented with a single ammonite fossil inlay. The base was designed and built to follow the curved lines of the sink. Pecan wood salvaged from a hurricane wraps around the bends of the sink and was used for the toiletries drawer below.  The base, built from steel tube, features a convenient towel bar near the top.
