309 Studio

Our first project is now our living space, design studio and fabrication/carpentry shops. Originally built in the 1950's as an Oldsmobile Cadillac Dealership, the building has also been home to a propane business, the Border Patrol and a ceramics studio. The scale of the building easily affords a 1600 square foot living space with an adjoining outdoor patio and garden, while leaving ample room for the shops in the back. Embracing the trajectory of the existing constructions, we re-purposed the old boarder patrol "holding cells" as storage and utilized the original garages as shops.
